Irrigation & drinking water testing
Know what is in the water before it goes on the crop — or into the herd.
Irrigation water carries salt, and drinking water carries risk. We test the sources on your farm and record the results alongside your soil and sensor data.
Available now · quoted per farmWhy it matters
The same water that makes a dry-season crop possible can slowly salt the soil if its EC is high. Fertigation and hydroponics depend on knowing the starting EC and pH of the water, because every nutrient recipe is built on top of it.
For livestock, poor water quality shows up as lower intake, lower milk and slower growth long before illness.
Method
How we do it
- 1
Sample each source
Boreholes, dams, rivers, tanks and troughs.
- 2
Measure and test
Field EC and pH; laboratory panels where needed.
- 3
Rate and record
Results rated against safe thresholds and stored.
From finding to action
What the results change on the farm
Typical examples of how a finding turns into a decision.
| If the survey finds… | …the decision is |
|---|---|
| Borehole EC high | Blend with rainwater, choose tolerant crops, and plan leaching |
| Contaminant near its limit | Warning raised; re-test and address the source |
When to order it
- Before drilling or commissioning a new borehole
- Before starting fertigation or hydroponics
- Seasonally for livestock water

Can results from another lab be recorded?
Yes. Results from any accredited lab can be recorded against the farm and rated against the same thresholds.
