Small solar devices measure what is actually happening. The platform works out what it means. Valves, fans and alerts act on it — and every step is recorded.
Under the bonnet
Built for sun, dust and patchy signal
Sensing. Field probes wake, read, report and sleep — every 30 minutes by day, every two hours at night — so a small panel runs them indefinitely. Greenhouse sensors are wired and report continuously.
Connecting. A mast or farm gateway raises a Wi-Fi network and routes it to the internet over 4G — one SIM for the whole farm. A node out of range relays through a neighbour. Readings are stored and sent when the link returns.
Recovering. Every device runs a watchdog: if a network call hangs on a half-dead connection, it restarts itself instead of sitting silent until someone visits. Firmware is updated remotely.
Acting. Controllers hold their schedules locally, so irrigation and venting carry on through an outage. Valves are normally closed and fail shut; a valve that loses contact for ten minutes closes itself.
Deciding. The platform keeps every reading, applies your rules, sends alerts and runs AI analysis that explains itself with your own numbers.
